NOTE: Often with cast aluminum ring gears, which were standard with the Ham M – Ham IV series, the cause of a rotor failure is a broken ring gear. It is usually broken into several pieces. The cast aluminum ring gear can be directly replaced with the stainless steel gear that was standard in the Tail-Twister rotor.
